The X8 Flamenco Cajon design pays homage to the very first box drums that were simply shipping crates that were played by laborers during down time. The cajon resonance box is made from premium selected exotic Asian oak with crate bars along the sides while the faceplate is fitted with legally certified Sungkai wood.
Designed to deliver a wide range of tones and versatility this drum is fitted with specially designed guitar strings that run vertically against the inside faceplate. The vertically arranged strings provide plenty of crackle that musically compliments the warm lower end sound of the oak box.
